Coolest Ski Lodges in the World to stay in
So if you're looking for the coolest place to stay when you hit the slopes this season, then this is definitely a blog you should check out. Some of these are some old classics, some are newer to the scene. As always, feel free to add your suggestions below.

1) The Little Nell, Aspen
If you're after a little bit of modern luxury, then you can't beat the Little Nell in Aspen. Based right at the bottom of the slope, it allows for perfect ski in/ski out days, with a great sun deck next to the lift for that post ski beer, or glass of rose. If it's snowing then head to the hot tub to relax with a cold one in hand.

2) The Lodge, Verbier
Part of the Virgin Limited Edition, The Lodge provides for the ultimate in ski luxury. This is perfect if you don't like the hotel vibe. With only 9 rooms, and nearly 1 staff member per guest, this is boutique at it's very best. If it's good enough for Richard Branson to spend his holidays at, then it's good enough for us.

3) Chateau Whistler, Whistler Blackcomb
It does not get more luxurious in Canada than Chateau Whistler! This is quite literally a castle on the slopes. The lifts are a few seconds away and you can ski straight into the boot room. Once you're done for the day, make use of the indoor/outdoor pool, or if you want to get your laps in, then their outdoor pool has the music playing to motivate you.

4) Le Chalet Zannier, Megeve
Another boutique specialty, this delightful little lodge really gives you the alpine feel. The accommodation is split over 3 chalets, each with their own open fire places and uber comfy sofas. This is the perfect place if you want to just curl up and relax after a hard day skiing.

5) Chateau Lake Louise, Alberta
Surrounded by the mountains, looking up on the Victoria Glacier and across the emerald lake, there are very few places more beautiful than this. Originally built for outdoor adventurists, this hotel sits slap bang in a UNESCO world heritage site. Not a bad place to enjoy luxury!
